Cove Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tiffany Russell Studio LLC ("elefox studio," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Cove: Ocean Puzzles (the "App"). It is separate from our website privacy policy. We built Cove to respect your privacy: there are no accounts to create, and we do not ask you for any personal information.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: none. The App has no sign-up, login, or account system, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or contact details.
- Game progress: your scores, collection, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or have access to this data, and deleting the App removes it.
- Advertising data (via Google AdMob): the App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect a device advertising identifier, IP address, and limited usage and interaction data. We request non-personalized ads where possible. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.
Advertising
Ads are provided by Google AdMob, whose handling of data is governed by Google's own policies: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. You can limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
How we use information
To run the game and remember your progress on your device, and — by Google AdMob — to display and measure ads within the App. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles about you.
How we share it
We do not sell or rent personal information. The only third party that processes data in connection with the App is Google (AdMob), solely to serve ads as described above. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Children
Cove is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and ads served in the App are configured as non-personalized. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention and security
Game data lives on your device and is removed when you delete the App. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its policies. We use reasonable measures appropriate to a game that collects no personal data directly. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can reset all game data by deleting and reinstalling the App, and you can control ad personalization through your device's advertising settings described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above.
